Ties That Bind

Like  Invisible Cities and Tales of the Tikongs, Krik? Krak! is composed of a series of vignettes. These stories that make up Krik? Krak!, however, are not as obviously related as those that comprise Invisible Cities or Tales of the Tikongs. The two things that truly connect the Dantikat's stories, other than common settings, are suffering and hope. These two human experiences bind tightly together these many people who are seemingly unrelated.
